Nienke Visser-Goodenough specialises in English pronunciation courses, which have been designed for speakers of English at advanced level and onwards.
Speakers at this level usually have a wide vocabulary and an extensive knowledge of the grammar. Their spoken English, however, might be heavily influenced by their native tongue.
During an intake-session the student’s pronunciation will be methodically analysed, and a customised learning programme will be created, which involves simple speech-exercises combined with detailed attention to stress and intonation.
This approach makes it possible to soften any non-English sounds, which will increase the speaker’s credibility and professionalism.
It is possible to arrange a one-off session in order to prepare for, for example, a speech or presentation.
